Under Head Coach Charles Ramsey the Eagles are showing signs of a program on the rise with an eye towards eventually contending for a MAC title. With a healthy Carlos Medlock back on the court and the expected continued progress of Jesse Bunkley and Justin Dobbins, things could be fun in Yipsilanti this season.
The backcourt will feature the teams’ top two scorers, with Medlock at the point and Bunkley on the wing. Medlock is a solid all-around player and Bumkley is a consistent three point threat. Juco Wendale Farrow will also start on the wing and look for senior Travis Lewis to contribute as well.
Justin Dobbins will man the middle and will be joined in the frontcourt by Brandon Bowdry, James Mattews and freshman Marvin Skipper who missed much of last year with injuries.
The Eagles are headed in the right direction and expect upper division finish and look for Eastern to get to a .500 record this season with 16 wins.
