By all accounts Georgetown should be a first round pick in any MostWins contest. They are coming off of a 30 win season and have 4 of 5 starters back and Head Coach John Thompson III has brought in some prize recruits. Another trip to the final four and possibly an NCAA championship is not out of the question. Jeff Green is gone and he was an outstanding player and tough to replace but the Hoyas have four starters and most importantly Roy Hibbert Returning to lead them to a Big East championship and No.1 seed.

The Hoyas are a very talented and deep team. We begin in the frontcourt with the probable Big East player of the year. Roy Hibbert at 7'2" is a behemoth in the middle. He can score, defend, and pass the ball. He came back for his fourth year and in this day and age that is very admirable. DaJuan Summers will try to replace Green at forward. At 6'8" he'll have to handle the physical Big East play but has the tools to be a breakout player. The other inside spot should have Patrick Ewing Jr. and Vernon Macklin vying for playing time and giving the Hoyas depth at that position.

The backcourt is deep where Jonathan Wallace and Jessie Sapp are both returning starters. Wallace is a scorer and Sapp a distributor. There is excitement surrounding two new guard recruits. Chris wright and Austin Freeman certainly won't start but could develop into difference makers late in the season. If nothing else they make the guard rotation awfully deep.

John Thompson III is not looking back to last year when Ohio State knocked his team around. Instead he's looking forward to this edition of the Hoyas. All the pieces are in place for a run at the national championship. The schedule includes an early season game at Memphis which could be a peek at a Final Four contest. First place in the Big East and 32 wins looks easy.

They are coming off of a 30 win season and have 4 of 5 starters back not to mention some prize recruits. First in the Big East and Final Four is our prediction, 32 wins.
